If you are a fan of 3D technology and you want to own a piece of it in your very own home, the latest announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 will be very exciting for you.

During CES 2012, the electronics company Bang & Olufsen (B&O) revealed that it plans to release a brand new 3D TV for the consumer market. The BeoVision 12-65 is a 65 inch, ultra-flat plasma TV capable of exceptional 2D and 3D performance.

As well as having a very thin screen, the BeoVision 12-65 also has an optical illusion included in the design as well as a partly integrated wall bracket. All of these features mean that it sits barely an inch or two away from the wall for an ultra-modern and sophisticated finish.

B&O’s new innovation also offers 7.1 surround sound through five speaker units, as long as they are set up in the right formation.

If this new 3D TV sounds like exactly the sort of advanced technology your living room has been waiting for, make sure you have your HDMI 1.4 cables (with their support for high resolution 3D technology) at the ready.
